Amazon wanted to tax me on the last purchase, I found someone else to purchase my TV from.

Amazon is going to be losing a lot of business on interstate commerce.

Amazon didn’t want to tax you.

They where forced to tax you by your state.

Direct your anger at the right place.

Even if they had not charged you tax you where still responsible for paying said tax.

Look for whether it's sold by Amazon or not. A lot of stuff on Amazon is not "sold by Amazon" and thus, assuming the actual seller is in a different state from you, still escapes sales tax.
