The Zimmerman trial taught us crackers that "n---a" (as opposed to "n----r") simply means "guy". And indeed, this has been confirmed by popular song lyrics and cultural references, alike.

So I expect a campaign of heavy liberal usage of this new and handy word, starting with English costume dramas on PBS's Masterpiece Theater and including CNN anchors switching to a live interview with the polite greeting to the President: "What up, my n---a?" :)
