Nothing unusual at all. I haven’t seen a Carolina Wren since we moved three years ago. We are in southwestern Ohio. Where are you finding that cherry sunflower seed?

I saw several bags at a Giant store (it's a supermarket here in PA) It's called Brown's 'Song Blend' Comes in a 3.5 lb bag and says in really big letters on the front: Cherry-Scented Dark Oil Sunflower. It is manufactured in Sinking Springs, PA which is very close to Valley Forge. The phone number is 1-800-334-8816. F.M.Brown and Sons, Inc.
