Very first Super Bowl was in the LA Coliseum. Not a domed stadium! First game under a roof was 1978 at the Superdome.

Houston Astrodome came before NOLA's Superdome. Not that a super bowl was ever played in the Astrodome (none was, according to wiki:List_of_Super_Bowl_games). Same source has many super bowl games played outdoors.
