“Besides that COPD is a horrible way to go, in some ways as bad as going with cancer.”

Other than dying peacefully in your sleep what are the easy-to-die diseases?

Laying in the snow bleeding out was remarkably peaceful. If it hadn't been for the pain of the smashed kidney and spleen, broken ribs and verts, that might not be a bad way to go.

You must not have much exposure to death. There is a vast spectrum in the death experience varying from dying peacefully in your sleep, to struggling for days and finally succumbing to pain or exhaustion.

I am a cancer survivor, personally I am hoping for a nice quick heart attack or a semi crossing the median.

BTW, COPD death is a long slow suffocation, if you are lucky, your CO2 levels go up enough to make you unconscious.
