I’ve never seen one with an extended tip reminiscent of a tall and skinny Monument Valley rock formation (back row right, and possibly the one at the front of the V).

What bullet is that? Never seen anything like it. Is the purpose of the extended tip to make it tumble?

For an answer I am willing to trade some gun info on my country. In Kenya, it is possible to get a gun license - difficult though. I have one, and my.carry piece is a Glock 19 Gen 4. Purchase price was ...wait for it ...almost USD 2,500 (when I convert go Dollars). A gun that would have set me back 650 in the US. Also, getting good carry ammo is not easy. Most people carry S&B hollowpoints or Fiocchi Black Mamba. I managed to get some Federal Hydrashok. I know a guy who got Golddots from someone at the US embassy, but since I haven't seen them I cannot confirm that.
