A terrified mother claims she watched in horror as her demon-possessed 9-year-old son walked backwards up a wall and ceiling. Her claims would be easy to dismiss if a child services case worker and a nurse weren’t reportedly there to witness it all.
Latoya Ammons claims all three of her children showed signs of being possessed, including “evil” smiles and strangely deep voices, the Indianapolis Star reports. The mother says she also witnessed her 12-year-old daughter levitating in their Gary, Ind., home.
Strangely enough, the scary-sounding incident is outlined in official documents. Further, Gary police Capt. Charles Austin told the Star that he is a “believer” after making several visits to the home and interviewing witnesses. He first thought the family was making stories up as part of a get-rich-quick scheme.
Ammons’ home was “exorcized” by a catholic priest in a number of ceremonies that were reportedly authorized by the Diocese of Gary. The story apparently became so believable that officers with the police department said they were too scared to stay at the house and some city officials wouldn’t even step foot on the property.

Well apparently even the Priest didn’t do so well at his assigned job....where I’m from when God does something it’s right the first time around...this guy took three times to do the job. Kinda reminds me of the guy in scripture who claimed to have powers to do this and the demons turned on him!

And so none of these people at any of these different times managed to pull out a cell-phone and take even a single pic?

I think you just contradicted your premise of evil not manifesting in people. Evil is not someTHING, it is someone. The Prince of this world is very real, the fallen angel who wanted to be God. He heads up all the angels who came with him...the demons. Yes,in ordinary circumstances evil manifests as something desirable or fun. It temps us and we all fall into the trap. But sometimes those demons find a person who attacks them for some reason. We might not understand why, but there is an opening somewhere for them to storm through the Spirit of God. That is when we have to face them with the Spirit of God that is stronger.
I think I’ve been around the possessed via various experiences.
If possession ,in this case, has occurred, and I have many reasons to believe it has not. Then it was invited....for when you play with that which the enemy entices you with long enough you will indeed get sucked in.
There are many cults and false religions who entice people and profess supernatural events......many which have been proven to be otherwise than from God for Satan does present himself as an angel of light.
So again, in this case , if it’s as they say, and much is not IMO ,...then it was by invitation and not simply leaving an opening.

Chances are it stunned them. I know it would stun me. Few people have that level of presence of mind.
Yes; I am certain that voodoo is going to be another major fad in a few years, mainly because people are determined to be part of an ‘exciting’ ritual.
I read that if a Priest fails at an exorcism, he is never allowed to do another exorcism again.
Well apparently not in this case. But I have no idea how they regulate that. But they haven’t been very good about regulating their priests to begin with.
Yes in that sense, both God and satan come in by invitation only.
Often there's a lot of hypnotic affects used and carried on by whoever is the so called “Leader” “Healer” etc. As well those who attend these “Expect” a happening so they are already wired before they walk in the doors or gatherings.
But yes, we will be seeing more and more of these....people are open to what once would have never been tolerated in a Christian society....but then that is not where this nation is now...Couple that with so many third world people entering our country and bringing their pagan beliefs with them...well it cannot help but become more prevalent...there's no resistance.
Except the guys in the Scripture were unsuccessful and got chased off by the demons because they were frauds. The priest, on the other hand, was apparently successful. How long it took him is God's business, since it is His power that casts out demons, not the exorcist's.

Good point. Scary story. Not really surprised-there are just too many creepy things happening in today's world. Need to keep up with prayer.

My first thought was to wonder where Coach Bob is these days. Is that wrong?
I remember reading a priest saying that this will become more commonplace, as fewer Westerners are baptized. He said that demonic possession is fairly common in Africa, for this reason, although, thankfully, Christianity is rapidly spreading there.
Priests don't record exorcisms, for the sake of the privacy of those possessed. My parish priest told me that a priest friend of his had witnessed a person walking up a wall. And if you google modern-day exorcists, you will see plenty of reports of preternatural phenomena.
But even if video evidence was available of someone walking up a wall, people would dismiss it as trick videography.
Eyewitness accounts can be compelling when there are several, and no parties have a financial interest in relating their accounts.
