This is not the way FR is supposed to be. I remember well a long thread about typewriter balls from the old IBM Selectric that ended up catching Dan Rather in a false story. That was not speculation. That was FR at its fines: fact checking by FReepers that had expertise.

I never would have imagined there was so much to know about the typewriter balls on an IBM Selectric.
