For a long time personal products service was fulfilled in India and was horrible. But I also dealt with them at work and their business line suport was still stateside and was awesome. They knew what they were doing and were helpful. I learned that I could register the products I bought for home with business support and everything was right with the world.
About 6 or 7 years ago, if memory serves, they cut over business support to India. GAME OVER. I bought no more products from Dell.
Bought my first Dell a few months ago here in Japan and am extremely pleased with it so far ( after a nightmare few years with an HP ) . Customer support is in China and my wife says they speak Japanese as well as a native .
