Then you remember those days too. There was an amazing number of British Bands which came from Liverpool and just about all of them were good.
I may have liked the Searchers even better than the Beatles.

I was a big Animals fan.
All of them were influenced by Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Holly....but I think the biggest influence on the Beatles was the Everly Brothers. You can hear their harmonies in every Beatles song.

I had every album of the Beatles back in the days. Wish I still had them.
Amazing how great their music is. Was a really good “shew” tonight. Paul and Ringo outshined everyone.

I was about to post that Herman’s Hermits didn’t get the cudos they deserved but I didn’t want to get flamed.
The DC5 had a very unique sound. I loved their music. Mike Smith spent the last 5 years of his life paralyzed from the waist down. Very sad.
