I’ve read 1 million US citizens live there full time already.

There are a few. Some went down there to take advantage of the permissive laws on drugs and child sex. Others married Mexican nationals. Still others retired there and can get their social security and pensions remitted through a U.S. account. But the point is that they do not expect Mexican taxpayers to pick up the tab for them.
And even if there are one million legal citizens down there, how does that justify roughly thirty times that number of illegal Mexican nationals up here?

Trust me they are not treated like that...if you want to live happily in Mexico you have to have enough money to pay for whatever you need, and not complain about the way things are done. Mexico expects people immigrating to their country to be self sufficient, productive, not make waves.
