.... which, while true to a degree, doesn't imply that's what God CREATED them to do. Don't like it, take it up with Him. All the males alive at the time were asleep when it happened (a foretaste of things to come!). Doesn't mean the God advocates or even tolerates bad behavior toward women.

You're right. God cherishes all of His children, male and female. He made us different, and he made us (women) from Adam, but He doesn't value us less.
