“And don’t try and make things personal against me or anyone else who is simply making an unbiased observation”

Don’t accuse FR of something then claim nothing should come back to you because you personally made a conclusion. Tough noogies. You made the conclusion so you can live with the feedback.

It is sad that a FReeper like you would claim when people complain of these types of deadly incidents that they are somehow just anti-cop.

Are you anti cop? Whatever you are, you sure got your feelings hurt by my open and honest assessment of how things are.

I’m sorry, but I did not throw a rock into a pack of dogs, but someone must have. You sure yelped.

....and even more demented about a marketing team thinking that factoid is a likely *draw* to their clientele.

Yes, it’s dreadful, it’s like something out of a dystopian novel. I’m not afraid to shoot my own children now! That’s great dude, does your wife know about this?

Hopefully his wife (or girlfriend) has already packed the kids up and gotten them out.

I prefer to protect myself, rather than hope a cop is on hand when the need arises. In truth, I would rather have violent criminals bust into my house at night than a SWAT getting the wrong address. The criminals I will kill without a second thought. Being loath to shoot cops, even stupid ones who are wrongly in my house, I would most likely be shot, along with my dogs. I want people with authority over me to have be intelligent and have integrity, along with a healthy respect for life and private property. If I can’t get that, I’d rather those in authority not be armed.

If he did, then he’s in the right place. This is a cop-hating website.

Yeah, this site used to be a lot friendlier to boot-lickers. Unfortunately the increasing militarization of the police and their obvious distain for the citizens who pay their salary has caused a lot of people to rethink there they stand. It's not our fault that police have decided they can kill without consequence. If they go back to being 'peace officers', rather than 'law enforcement officers', it would go a ways towards people's attitudes about them change to one that is more positive.

Sadly, once trust is lost, it's much harder to regain.

Plus you can trust your own loyalties. How do you know when the cop’s going to go statist on you?
