Now young people can get insurance for as little as $50 a month, less than the cost of gym shoes," she explained.

So who buys a new pair of gym shoes EVERY MONTH?

Moochie is insanely stupid!

So who buys a new pair of gym shoes EVERY MONTH?

A. I usually get sneakers for $15-20 at WalMart, use the up in 4-6 months, and get another. $30-60 per year for me.
B. That $50/mo, even if it was true, does not include the huge deductibles or the co-pays. Further, I never carried health insurance from the time I was on my own at 18 until after I turned 40. That's 22+ years of payments I never needed to make because I was never sick or injured enough to let my mom guilt me into going to a doctor. (Yes, I'm a typical male. My arm could be falling off... "it's only a flesh wound!")

22 years times 12 months times "just" $50... $13,200 saved right there. At a more likely $120/mo, it's closer to $31,680. It was a gamble, but one that paid off for me. Why aren't other allowed the FREEDOM to make the same choices and decisions for themselves, Ms First Lady?
