Stern is a lot like Ron Jeremy.
You disapprove of his lifestyle, yet it's hard to dislike the guy because they're not hypocritical.

After FCC commissioners announced they have reached a deal to approve the merger of Sirius (NASDAQ:SIRI) and XM (NASDAQ:XMSR), Stern ranted about Democrats gangsterism and communism and the obstacles to the merger. Uh, wasn't the Sirius XM merger approved by the FCC in 2008?

This Big Bird buttwad has trashed the republicans for years. His low information voter pool has voted like this wad and helped put zer0 into office twice. So NOW he changes his mind?

Howard Stern is a social liberal, who for years had enough money to disregard the customary democrat redistribution of wealth. He is smart enough to realize that they have been fleecing him and all the other high-earners for years. Sooner or later, his financial smarts will overrule his hedonism in voting. His perverted act is just an act. You don’t get to where he is without some brains. Maybe, he is starting to see that.

Stern is a flake, but I’m glad he’s seen the rats for what they truly are. And why is nobody calling an investigation into Clyburn’s sister? She should be in jail/

He was more worried about the FCC censoring him than the IRS robbing him.

Stern’s media power should not be underestimated. He has been a king maker several times in New York. He has a LOT of no information voters that will do as he says. That’s a lot of votes.
To: Lucky9teen
Democrats may be communists, but Stern is a crony-capitalist par excellance.
NY State gov and legislature enacted a law providing a really big tax cut, with the langauge of who qualifies so tightly written because it will only apply to Howard Stern’s America’s Got Talent show and NBC’s Tonite Show for moving their productions to New York City; no other business can ever qualify for the tax cut, because no other business could ever meet the qualifying conditions in the law. Now isn’t that special.
Now, poor Howard’s limo driver won’t have to take him back and forth between Manhattan and New Jersey for the production.
I applaud Howard for his political awakening. He’s still juist a vulgar mouth crony-capitalist to me.

Stern has been in the media for how long? And he's just figuring this out?
This goes to show the ignorance of media personalities.
And when it's to late they get to die first.

Liberals finally waking up.... Better late, than never, IMO. The Left is finally infringing on some of the areas that its supporters control - Stern sees the FCC coming in to "watch over" his business and finally gets the pucker effect that most FReepers have been getting for a long time.

I think this Stern quote is from 7 yrs ago. You are correct and Big Bird changes his mind as often as his underwear, every few days.
