Canadian now, but the article mentions Penn State many times, as well as tainted papers that were derivatives of Mann.
And the poster at #19 asks what Penn State will do about academic fraud.
I'm expecting the lawsuits to move south, and add Penn State to the mix.

Not aware of any Constitutional wording or Federal Case Law which says the President can “forgive” a civil award. The pardon power, AFAIK applies to all criminal penalties, and criminal penalties only.

Time for a Class-Action Lawsuit under the False Claims Act.
The real question is, what Attorney in the U.S. would be brave enough to take such a case, given the very real possibility of a government Crackdown on them? (IRS,NSA,SEIU,etc...)
The revenue stream for Leftists from the Globo Warmin’ fraud is HUGE, and won’t be given up easily.
