What about “Spirit of St. Louis” (1957), even though Jimmy Stewart was WAY too old to be playing Lindbergh?

that is my number one... The Spirit of St. Louis... and second on my list is Flight Angels (1940), a cheesy movie about pilots and stewardesses with a very young Jane Wyman...

Another REALLY early “stewardess” film recently came out on dvd... entitled “Air Hostess” (1933), and starring Evalyn Knapp in the title role. Really rare film, made at Columbia, and never really circulated on television.

Interesting vintage footage of passenger planes and airports, circa 1933. Beautifully re-mastered with an incredibly sharp print. But not a particularly good film, unfortunately.
