My trick at 'picking up' before company is this:
Take a wicker basket around the house,
and everything that is laying on a 'flat space',
put it into the basket.
Then take the basket out to the garage
to sort through later.
Everything except the dog (or cat)! LOL!

LOL...I am dancin’as fast as I can, yorkie. Good advice..I do something similar with paperwork..sometines it requires a wheelbarrow.
