Look up the ethnic balance in Crimea, and Ukraine might actually want Russia to take it back.
There are a large number of Tatars, who are muslim, and have historically been seriously mistreated by Russia. Lots of dead uncles and aunts who never lived to have children of their own. If Russia really wants to bring these guys in, go for it, but they will live to regret it.
Obama might accidentally get this right. When your enemy is making a mistake, don’t hinder him.
