I'm not going to guess, but what if the kid had moved fairly recently and the bag was a gift from a friend at his former location? Would honoring/remembering his friend be a bad thing? — my point is that the possession/use of the item mightn't be due to his love for the show at all, though even if he did like it, so what?

I think he should be allowed to bring it to school.....but there are consequences to this and he knows what they are....other boys making fun of him...kids that age make fun of almost anything and can be cruel...

so why does mother not intervene and direct her son to be less controversal?...less a target?....

this is petty nonsense and why put the kid in such a predicament.....its not like its standing up for Jesus...its just a stupid show about pretend pink ponies.....this is NOT the hill one should die on....

I suspect mommmy has her own "issues" like maybe she wants a big settlement and to go on the Ommpa show or something..
