OK, all this activity going on in the valley….
…and yet me and my American chip engineering friends can’t find jobs. For a long time. After taking classes. After having work in the “latest” technology on our resumes.
This is sickening.
Most of what is going on in the Vally right now is chip related. There are some fabless companies, but they mostly use fabs in China, Malaysia, Taiwan.
Same here, can’t find job in silicon Valley, with all latest and greatest buzz world in resume.
The reason tech jobs are hard to find is simple
401B VISA program, which continues to be expanded.
Contact your congressman and senators. This program needs to be curtailed!
Even if you have a job, it’s keeping your salary lower than it would be in an open market.
