Are you surprised???
Reagan National’s redo a few years ago could put it in contention architecturally, but like all US airports, it’s still fairly mediocre AND boring. Taxpayers would revolt were we to invest heavily in a ‘show’ airport anywhere in the U.S.A.
Well, not to mention the security checks.
Have we all become so immune to the TSA that we can't imagine that an American airport doesn't rank among the world's best?
