“She will walk up me from foot to shoulders and drop her baby in my face for me to play.”

I sit in my recliner to keep pressure off my spine, and Prissy jumps on the chair and goes to my chest and beats on it with her paws and backs off dancing and beats on me again and backs off and dances - she wants me to act like I'm going to get her so she jumps off the chair and wants me to get up and play that game. If she hears the UPS truck she does the same, beats on my chest, to get me to pick her up and go to door to see truck. If she hears something outside, she runs and jumps on the chair and beats on chest until I got to the front or back door where she heard the sound.

Both you and I have a small dog who considers our body is theirs to play with. I'm taking her to groomer tomorrow morning so I'll go to Lowes for the hummingbird thingy and go to Kroger and pick up med at Walgreens. The groomer is one block or less away from me on my “shopping street” which is what I call 336 up to HEB and down to Lowes. Only have to get off shopping street for doctor and beauty shop.

I think when you come to town you get what you want on that shopping street, too. Once I sent my friend in Bandera a list of almost every thing on shopping street and she was amazed all that was between Lowes and HEB. I think that street should be in “Ripples Believe It Or Not”. How many miles is it from HEB to Lowes? One mile or less?

There was a thread on FR a couple of days ago about Walgreens going to close some of their stores. I came close to a heart attack thinking my Walgreens could close. Surely it won't. I just won't allow that.

Our pups are silly, ain’t they? That’s why we keep them. Gracie had a traumatic experience while we were in the shop today. Elmer, the 14yo poodle saw somebody walking down the street with a dog about 50lbs, maybe more. Elmer started his whine that signals he wants to go meet somebody in the street, I immediately hollered for him to stay(he will mind if you are loud and forceful sounding) Gracie, who minds never, took off out towards the street(on her 32ft chain) with me yelling for her to come back. Well large dog wanted to meet and be friends; when he came toward Gracie, she turned in terror and came running inside at top speed screaming like she was getting her head cut off. She hid behind me and the other dog came right up in the shop to say hello. Gracie barked nonstop at the top of her lungs, having made no impression on the big dog. His owner was apologizing and calling her dog to return. They walked a few feet and the dog returned to Gracie. Gracie was scared to death; she barked for 10 minutes. I’m sure the lady was several blocks away, still hearing Gracie barking uncontrollably. I finally decided she was not going to stop so I picked up my saw and cut 3 boards to length. By the time I finished sawing, she had stopped except for an occasional bark. It scared her to death! But she knew to hide behind me, I would not let anything happen to her. Ya juss gotta love’em!
