I got it at lowes, it is about a foot tall or maybe more, it is only half round, measures to the 1/8” and up to 5”, mounts to vertical surface with 2 screws. I like it better than the old one like you have, which got broke.

Sorry for any incoherance or goofiness, took a muscle relaxer at 7am and just now coming aslive again, but in a fog yet. Going outside with puppies and get some air and stir around a bit.

I don’t have a place to mount a rain gauge that isn’t under a roof. the walls around the garden are brick so not going to mount anything into brick. I’ll get the stick in the ground kind the next time I go somewhere.

Did you check the gauge for rainfall after last night’s rain? Seeing my gauge fallen on the deck was the last straw for that one.
