I presume the idea is that someone who aspires to and experiences such in his relationships with women would have learned that that’s no way to treat another human being in an intimate relationship.

Do you know anything about this man his other songs? He is far from a saint. Under my Thumb is probably one of his tamer songs. And no doubt Miss Scott knew long about that before she ever met him. I would not advise any women to pursue a relationship with him, but I highly doubt he caused her suicide.

(She killed herself because he was running around? Give me a break, he has always run around, including people of both sexes. Anyone who anticipated he would be with one person, might also believe that Obama and Ted Cruz are best friends.)
