Bad infection in my right leg. Went to the local VA Clinic a week ago and the physician insisted that I be rushed to the local emergency room to check for a blood clot. Hours later - no blood clot found, so ER doctor prescribed two antibiotics. Have been on them for a week now and while they've tamped the infection down, they aren't defeating it. So I've pleaded with the VA Clinic to please give me the antibiotics that have successfully fought it in the past. I'm still waiting to hear back. Meanwhile, lots of pain.
(prayers sent)
>> Cellulitis I think they call it. <<
Had it myself last year. Doc said it’s usually caused by a strep virus, not a staph. Seven days on amoxicillin knocked out the rash, but the swelling went away only after three more weeks.
I’m so sorry for you, dearest one.
You and your leg have my faithful prayers.
God love you, I sure do.
GOD bless. My prayers are for you to be healed.
Infections are miserable. My mom (83yo) fought one for a year after knee surgery.
God Bless You Sir.
Prayers up. God Bless!
Wishing you the best. Get well soon.
Prayers for the proper meds and a quick recovery.
Prayers up for speedy healing.
I wish you a refuah schleimah (”May G-d grant you a perfect healing”). That is terrible, having to be in pain AND wonder if you will get the prescription you need. But we ship millions of dollars of drugs to people who hate us.
Prayers on their way.
Hot soaking the affected area or hot compresses to pain tolerance, often work in killing an infection. A home health nurse acquaintance believes in vinegar wraps for Cellulitis.
Touch 2dDiv’s leg with your healing Power oh Lord.
Keep thinking healing thought 2dDiv!
It could be cellulitis.
I have fired a few in my time. Can’t be bothered with doctors that don’t listen. Of course being a retired nurse, am not afraid to speak up. Nurses are not the easiest to deal with and doctors find that out quick...we can spot idiots even when they are doctors, but most are fine. Some are great. If you don’t feel confident in your doctor, find another and not from the same practice...
Prayers for you, your leg, and your medical providers.
Praying for you 2nd DV.
Prayers for you, 2nd DV. May healing come very soon.
Our prayers go out to you and we hope you get better soon.
So sorry you are having troubles. Prayers up for you and your embattled leg, FRiend!
