Yep. Only thing I actually liked was the Devil Wears Prada. She was pretty good as a bitch Ice queen.
Speaking of Bette Midler, the only movie I liked her in was “Ruthless People.”
I always get the impression that the polling is done from a set of people with a limited collection of movies viewed. Where are Janet Leigh, Marlene Dietrich, Shirley MacLaine, Hedy Lamarr, Susan Hayward, Maureen O’Hara, Myrna Loy, Jane Darwell, Jean Arthur, Joan Collins,Teresa Wright, Jean Simmons, Eva Marie Saint, for just a few samples.
Great Garbo is the greatest actress of the twentieth century. The way she could handle her facial expressions and her eyes is beyond comparison.
Boy the Marxist and anti-white crowd will hate this list.
If it isn’t Susan Hayward, Maureen O’Hare, Jean Simmons, Irene Dunn, Claudette Colbert, Donna Reed, and their contemporaries they are not actresses.
Exactly right although Hepburn had so many good movies you could debate which was her best for a long long time. She was really good in The Lion In Winter IMHO.
