Both LGBT[more alphabet-soup here]-rights mania and islamophilia are driven by the fundamental commitment of the Left: hatred of the Gospel (at Brandeis doubtless mixed with a little Jewish-self-loathing). Anti-Christians can slaughter homosexuals on an industrial scale, and the left won't say "boo", but just try to hold by one's Christian (or traditional Jewish) moral standards and decline to provide services for a "gay wedding" and they'll see you in court. Orthodox Christian Russia gets tarred for banning homosexual propaganda, but Muslim countries get a pass on death penalties for sodomy because they're allies in the left's campaign against Christianity.
