Crosby had another great game, despite the officials letting Stall take repeated cheap shots to Sid's head and neck area.

Officiating has been decidedly pro-Rangers in NYC.

Well, if the officiating has been slanted, NY is literally reaping *zero* benefit from it ...

Right now, the Rangers are like a boxer who’s taken an awful lot of body-blows; if the Pens keep the intense pressure on, the KO will come soon. Frankly, I don’t see a “Kings Komeback” from them, with as strongly as Pittsburgh is playing.

To be "Fair and Honest" - I am the most rabid Penguins fan I know.

But seriously, do you really believe there was only ONE (1) penalty committed by the Rangers last night?

And Henrik is the only thing that has the Rangers with even 1 win. We ran into a hot goalie with 'Bobs' in Columbus and now him...?

And still, our 3 losses are all OT losses.

The Penguins may be peaking right before our very eyes!

I missed most of the third Period last night, however I did see a lot of garbage that wasn’t called ... And, Lundqvist has been a difference-maker, he could yet steal a game for the Rangers.

No dog in this fight really (it’s very hard likely to gen up any enthusiasm for the Sabres lately ;). I’m still befuddled why the Refs feel they have to flag a little pull here & there, while letting major maulings go — it’s not in the League’s interest to hamstring their meal-ticket players; at the same time, you do want to promote the game so not make it appear that you’re giving preferential treatment to anybody. A bit of a balancing act I guess, but a little consistency *would* be nice.

Your human interest feel good story,

Montreal Canadiens’ goaltender Price saw his two Labrador Retrievers missing.

Turned out they were safely found following a jogger!

The Canadiens' P. K. Subban gets a lead pass coming out of the penalty box and cashes in the breakaway past Bruins G Rask
to give Montreal a 2-0 lead over Boston going into the 1st Intermission of Game 3 at the Bell Centre.

Bruins score with 2:16 left to make it 3-2, Montreal.

Bruins net was empty.

Hang on to your hats here.

I assume Boston fans will give Subban a warm welcome at Game 5 later this week. ;^)

Go Habs!

And an Eller ENG with seconds to go seals the deal for Montreal 4-2, to go up Two games to One. An intense last few minutes – a Thomas Vanek “Bell-ringre” with about 4 minutes to go could’ve put the game out of range at the time. Price stood tall in goal for the Canadiens despite getting roughed up a bit by the Bruins (who seem to have trouble TAKING the rough stuff ;)

The Kings are looking so awesome but that's what the playoffs are all about in the end.

Just for a fair representation of all the teams. Because I like the Blackhawks a little bit.

Very good game by Bryzmalov, clean sheet! Not sure if Ann Arbor's Darcy Kuemper who went out injured in the series versus the Avalanche will be put back in net soon. They said the Wild had played 5 different goaltenders this year. Otherse, Josh Harding, Nicholas Backstrom, I forget the other one.

Took the Wild 2 scoreless periods to finally get going but they got the W.

The Pens' Brandon Sutter follows up on a foiled short-handed breakaway as Rangers' G Lundqvist is down and out of position,
breaking a 1-all tie and giving Pittsburgh a 2-1 lead over NY at the end of Period 2 of Game 4 at Madison Square Garden.

Of course we don’t get it here! ARGGGGHHHH! And the Rangers looked like they needed a few cases of Red Bull to be competitive. They looked positively exhausted, no jump, no urgency. I will be picking a new team every round at this rate.

A great job by the Penguins defense after losing Brooks Orpik early on.

And after ignoring countless hits to the head, the referees finally call a penalty on a Rangers player for high sticking Crosby.

A Third-period goal by the Rangers F Zuccarello narrows the gap to 3-2 in favor of the Pens', but Chris Kunitz scores within a minute
to reestablish a two-goal advantage for Pittsburgh, which holds up for a 4-2 win over the Blueshirts in Game Four & an elimination home game.

To bad about Orpik just having come back from injury, but a good defensive adjustment.

And I don’t think you have to worry about unrequited Rangers penalties after Friday – stick a fork in ‘em…
