I correct my comment about it being at Carnegie Hall. At the 17:33 mark, the stage is fully visible and it is Avery Fisher.

friend asked me to learn that after we watched the movie, Shine.

I told my friend that it was too difficult for me, but my friend said try practicing it for six months and see what happens. It still can't memorize it even though I'm trying to memorize other, shorter oeuvres.

Thanks, I enjoyed it.

I had a lot of Dixielnd, Scott Joplin, and that type of jazz records when I was younger. No longhair music for me then.
One day I heard Rachmaninoffs C minor concerto played on the piano and I was so impressed by the music, and by the pianist, that I went out and bought it. It was played by Alexander Brailowski. To me he is the best pianist I have ever heard. -Tom
