I don’t know how Melbourne wins the quality of life category. I suppose if you are cafe sitting, beer drinking, party going, AFL football loving, wearing metrosexual clothing and being gay then Melbourne might be just up your alley. People seem to be on an existentialist, hedonistic roundabout spinning aimlessly from day to day always looking for something new to excite them - in Melbourne it’s what you do that counts not who you are or what you believe! If that’s quality of life then it can kiss my butt!
Can anyone explain why we say “Mumbai” instead of “Bombay”, and “Yangon” instead of “Rangoon”, but not “Singapura” for “Singapore” or “Roma” for “Rome”?
