Japan, South Korea and every Chinese country/community outside of Mainland China are not communists and have as good or better living standards than Western countries.

The fact that Mainland China and North Korea are poverty stricken hellholes in comparison only highlights just how badly communism wrecked their societies.

So, why are they communist?

Same as Jews: because they mostly live in major metropolitan areas. The need for invasive big government increases with population density.

The only Asian countries I’m aware of which still claim to be Communist are China, Vietnam and the Norks.

China is still ruled by an organization calling itself the Communist Party, and uses some Communist rhetoric. But any country with several private property billionaires and a great many private property millionaires cannot be called Communist in any real sense with a straight face.

Vietnam is pretty much following China down this road.

The Norks have a hereditary God-King, who rules with a system elevating the military far above civilians in importance. What is Communist about that, except the language?
