Betcha anything this gets justified as a fire or safety issue. I could even see inspectors assessing residential property to establish occupancy limits and require permitting for gatherings.

If I was a blossoming tyrant, that's the approach I'd take.

What part of “public square” do the opponents not understand? Disrespectful, self absorbed narcissistics need some direction or a fine for taking up the neighborhood.

My private home neighborhood is no public square, and the public square is not where a man comes at the end of the day for a little respite. There’s a difference.

Sheesh. Rent a mob and a mob hall, but get out of the evening in the neighborhood full of families.

Now, maybe I will read the article.
