I was making a parody of the schlock-sci-fi film "Sharknado", where killer sharks are swept up in a tornado and then rain down on the public, biting and killing as they fall to earth. Since Orcs are the chief nasties in the LOTR films, thus "Orcnado".

Soooo. Welcome to my wormhole!

I will admit that I’ve come to appreciate some subtle symbolism in the new movies. Radagast’s face represents both the novel and the audience, while the birds who nest in his hair symbolize Jackson himself.

I have to admit, the LOTR films are like white noise to me. I never picked up on the reference. I like a good science fiction film(what’s that R2?), but not much on fantasy.

For full disclosure, I am aware of the Sharknado film. If I was involved in the production of that movie in any way, I would never admit that involvement in public. One has to draw the line somewhere I guess...
