Good morning all. I'm a grandma! The feral cat who I've been feeding and who supervises my gardening had kittens... again. I never saw the first litter but this morning I went out to feed her and she growled and peeked out of the box we'd fixed for winter which she never used. I stayed my distance but spied one kitten and maybe another under the towel. She was walking spraddle legged yesterday so I figured it was time. I'm excited and at the same time not happy with more cats.
Over the past week, we've had wet stuff falling from the skies. If I remember correctly, it's called rain. Nearly 3.5”. Tornado warnings yesterday and hail in town but no bad weather here. It's mostly been nice on and off light rain for several days so it soaked into the soil rather than run off.
