Breitbart ^ | May 24, 2014 | Robert Wilde

Posted on 05/24/2014 9:51:51 PM PDT by This Just In

In an emotional statement, the father of a victim of the mass murder in Isla Vista on Friday night addressed reporters Saturday and warned families that it can happen to them too. "Our family has a message for every parent out there: You don’t think it’ll happen to your child until it does.”

Not only does he have no expertise on the Constitution, he also (clearly) doesn’t give a flying sh!t about the victims who were killed with weapons other than the gun.

...the Community Mental Health Act of 1963.

Not the NRA. Not lack of gun control. Not lack of knife control and sharp, pointy stick control.

The article said it was the father of one of the victim, not the father of the murderer.

That being said, I feel for his loss but it is not the NRA's fault.

He never should have encouraged his kid to get that gun permit, what? No permit?

So......the NRA is to blame?

What did “daddy” expect? For the NRA to come to his house and teach morality and responsibility to his spawn?

I wonder if all of those videos and violent games he was playing were made by the NRA?

Since females ran away from him like he had leprosy, I have to assume he was queer as a three-dollar bill too. As a matter of fact he was probably such an “asshole” that even queers ran away from him too.

I always am amazed of people who blame everyone (and everything) for their failures other than themselves.

Clearly, the home environment was “sterile” when it came to the responsibility of raising a child.

Please read the article.

It was one of the fathers of a victim who blamed the NRA.

Does he wonder what might have happened if Rodger had come across an armed citizen or two? Nope never occurs to him because he lives in Crazyfornia.

And why not blame Google? He placed his video with threats up a day before he went on his rampage. Blame everyone but the murderer. Welcome to 2014.

I blame the murders of 200 million unarmed people in the 20th century on governmennts led by psychos drunk with power and motivated by Satan. By comparison, the smattering of murders by powerless psychos, is insignificant and irrelevant.

The killer didn’t blame the NRA or politicians for his actions. He blamed women for not wanting to have sex with him for his actions.

I wonder if the father would have blamed politicians and the NRA, if his son was one of the knifed victims instead?

It’s because the shooter was a Democrat, and Democrats are mentally deranged.

The 22-year-old wrote that “the ultimate evil behind sexuality is the human female.” He added that they “think like beasts” and “should not have the right to choose who to mate and breed with.”

Um, Dad ...I think you had bigger problems here with this kid than just the NRA or “craven” politicians.

the hoplophobes need to differentiate more often between means & motive.

why blame the nra ?? we don’t blame auto clubs/aaa for drive bys nor chef knife makers/hobbyists for stabbings etc. yet the hoplos continue to attempt to prohibit the only weapon the constitution affirms the right to own. this is why hoplophobic & anti 2nd amendment speech is socialist commie agitating propaganda.

the true motive is the sin/hatred/murder in the heart.
cleanse the heart, change the hearts & minds, & there will be less crime.

cain didnt kill abel with a firearm.

9“The heart is more deceitful than all else
And is desperately sick;
Who can understand it?

10“I, the LORD, search the heart,
I test the mind,
Even to give to each man according to his ways,
According to the results of his deeds. Jer 17

“But the things that proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and those defile the man. 19“For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, slanders. 20“These are the things which defile the man Matt 15:18

“1What is the source of quarrels and conflicts among you? Is not the source your pleasures that wage war in your members? 2You lust and do not have; so you commit murder.”
James chapt 4

Martinez, in an emotional plea, asked, “Why did Chris die? Chris died because of craven, irresponsible politicians and the NRA…"

I sympathize with this man but he is laying the blame in the wrong place.

It wasn't the NRA or politicians respecting our Constitution and God-given rights who are to blame. It was a deranged psychopathic killer who murdered his son.

If he wants to lay blame, he should lay it on this 22 year-old killer - and maybe somewhat on his atheistic parents who obviously raised him without moral guidance, violent video games, and a culture which glorifies worshipping self and unbridled lust rather than God. But in the final analysis, responsibility lies with the murderer.

The NRA was nowhere in the chain of blame but that doesn't stop the left from trying to put the onus on them and all of us who responsibly own and use firearms. No, we didn't murder his son.
