This has not been a “buggy” spring and summer here so I imagine it’s trying out a new spot. I haven’t had one here in years.
We had one right by the door light at our lake cabin years ago ..We called him Charlie the mosquito catcher.

It has Chosen a Spot Close to the Front Porch Light, Near my Porch Swing.
