Oh happy day in Texas when thee A/C is fixed and the house is cool. I had to replace my compressor 4 years ago so put in new everything. It was just before a grandson’s big wedding in Dallas and I was in a dither hosing down the compressor to get it running for just enough time to keep me from melting and deciding on a new unit. before I left on the trip.
That’s exactly what we just did...new everything. It was time...it’s been holding on by a prayer, for some time.
No weddings in our plans....for now. But....we’ll be ready should our kids/family spring something on us ;-)
Glad you stayed cool before your grandson’s big wedding....THAT is not a good time to be getting ready in the heat.
