Sounds like Dad feels guilty for being away and is overcompensating.
Who knows. I’ve said prayers for all of them and it’s in Gods hands now. I make jokes by instinct but in the end I hand it to the Almighty. My heart goes out to all of them, especially a 16 year old girl who was raised in confusion.
