I didn't.
Yes, I expected Obama would be as bad as he’s been. That part has not really been a surprise at all.
What I didn’t expect is that the GOP would just totally relinquish its position as “opposition party,” and sit by, and let Obama bulldoze over everything to the extent they have. I thought Obama’s far-left agenda would galvanize a sturdy GOP opposition. But instead, I saw the GOP spend most of its time dumping on its base, whenever either fiscal or social issues arise.
Similarly, what I didn’t expect is for the American populace to just allow itself to be so cowed by the media and the PC-culture, to the point of torpor, and allowing such shocking degrees of statism and moral-bankrupcy to flourish throughout the country. I truly thought Americans were made of sturdier stuff, and valued what this country used to represent. That certainly had been the case in times past, but not anymore, apparently.
Yes....I am not prone to crying....on his 2008 election night, I burst into uncontrollable tears....YES...I knew.
yes. me.
Well, maybe next election, everybody will vote instead of staying home because THEIR guy wasnt running.
All the GOPe has to do is offer up someone who is NOT endorsed by the democrat party (and their propaganda arm, the MSM)
Don’t blame it on those that stayed home. Blame it on the party running losers who are for the most part, a carbon copy of the rat candidate.
After all, Romney was the grandfather of obamacare.
What is alarming is that NO one who has the balls to do much of anything to stop it.
Yes!!!! Tried to explain who he was to anyone who would listen, but I think many were star-struck. Who could forget his first coronation, I mean inauguration. The majestic white columns, etc.
Again, liberty or death. No more lesser of evils. GOP best wise up and put forward a real candidate, if they expect to win anything.
You are 100% correct.
Exactly what has happened to shut up Sheriff Arapaio? I haven’t hear a peep lately, and am under no illusion that anything will ever come of that. Correct me if I am wrong, please!
I am a pessimistic realist...so yeah. I figured it would be this bad and worse. And the scary part is...
it ain’t over yet.
The same thing that happened to Sarah Palin’s potential run. He, like Palin, say that the very people that should have had his back, The right wing, turned on him and openly sided with the leftists, spouting MSM propaganda talking points, minimizing his work, statements and accomplishments and rightly said “F this”.
The reason I despise cheshire conservatives as much as I do, far more than I despise the leftists, is that because of them, the enemy within, we have been rendered impotent to act in any effective manner.
And they deserve every bit of the shame and scorn we and heap on them for their leftist empowering actions.
Edit...
“He, like Palin, SAW...”
It has not got half as bad as I thought it would get. The best [not in a good way] is yet to come.
Yes, I did. And that’s when I started prepping.
Someone just freepmailed me asking me to explain Jim Robinson’s endorsement of Romney..
Not sure why they think I should be the one explaining this since Jim is capable of answering that question himself.
Yep.
Didn’t take me till 2009.
Any democrat that’s running for president is akin to a tornado that hasn’t touched down.
Once they’re elected all hell breaks loose.
Been that way with every dem since Kennedy and it’s not going to change.
Fought against Romney and the GOPe tooth and nail during the primary. Decided to vote for him in the general. Not hard to understand why. In a word: Obama.
My only regret is that I didn’t fight even harder against him in the primary. He was the weakest Republican running and I was amazed more people couldn’t see that.
Wasn't me, but I've known of Jim's motivations for some time, and I tend to agree with him!
pushed by the establishment. GOP needs to realize we're not following blindly anymore. The sooner they do, the better we...and America...will be.
I Did.
