I'd have to agree with that statement. I tried some ghost pepper salsa recently ... my gosh, the flavor was amazing. Yeah, it was spicy hot, but not as hot as one would imagine. Now the ghost pepper hot sauce ... wow! That stuff is hot!!!

Very hot, yes. But it’s hard to beat the flavor of an habañero, and it still has plenty of heat, unless a person is unfortunate and gets one of the tamed down (ruined) varieties.

Truly delicious - once you get the heat level right. Use the powder. Eating a pepper is just throwing yourself in front of a bus. But at the right heat level, the Ghost is really, really good.

Habanero tastes like metal in comparision. But the trick with habanero is to add some sitrus - any citrus will do. The two go together like Abbot and Costello.

not really....if you eat a whole one you can’t taste anything....There comes a point where ‘the burn’ just washes out every thing. These leave taste buds blistered (and any other skin that touches the oils or seeds).
