That’s a good point, too.

Now I see a lot of problems with dog breed bans. What about mixes? Would they do what they do with wolf hybrids? Keep in mind that a lot of pit owners are not famous for obeying rules and laws. Many own illegal wild animals as pets.

I have a problem with banning any domestic pet breed-as you said, keeping wild animals as pets is illegal, but there are pet wolves, mountain lions and other wild and protected animals in the yards of some out here who can afford to keep them under the radar.

I pointed out in an earlier post even my Husky is on the dangerous list, as were my other dogs. I don’t like Chihuahuas or most Terriers-they bite and yap, and could jump in a child’s face and cause serious damage-can’t we ban those, too?

If the banning breeds road is taken, maybe cats are next? I have one that weighs 20 pounds, and has big claws-he could be dangerous to a kid...

Better we should make owners responsible for keeping their animals on their own property, and not allowing them to interact with others unless supervised and under control...
