When Klinsi brought in Brooks, I thought he had lost his mind.
Haven’t watched US soccer development that closely going into the World Cup. Apparently he knows something. ;-)
Hugely impressed with both Klinsmann and Brooks, who had a nice run of form at the end of the Bundesliga season.
Bob Bradley’s USA team folds in that situation. Bruce Arena’s USA team never reaches that situation. Klinsmann’s USA team wins the game.
My only criticism was that I thought the style of play when we had the ball was too direct in a game when they were getting overwhelmed in possession. Too careless in midfield with the ball, too much easy loss of possession and too much unnecessary pressure on the back line.
But hey a win’s a win.
