Do you have this book? I read the reviews and it said it’s more for southwestern climates, I’m midwest. :)
Its really really dangerous to use a book to determine which plants are edible. Look for a class or someone locally who will take you out and show you which ones are safe. Many times the edible ones look very similar to poisonous ones.
