This group has too much free time and must be taking some lightweight courses. They need to take some serious math/physical science courses to discover the joys of study and discipline. I would be curious to know how they believe “critical race and ethnic studies” can be part of courses in differential equations or kinetics.
One reason I quit the American Association for the Advancement of Science some years ago was that their board elected to take the position that there was such a thing as Women's Mathematics, different from other mathematics because...well, because oppression, that's why. I assure you these people are absolutely serious. Stupid people are often serious, and just as often dangerous.
They have no interest or aptitude for anything of value so they do this to create some sort of significance for themselves, if only in their own minds. Consider that right now we are discussing them and not some engineering students.
The exactitude of math is patriarchal and oppressive.
