No, men are avoiding (I would say “evading”) marriage because they are taught to be lecherous and to not embrace marriage, never mind the responsibility that comes with it. The left has a big hand in this with their notion of “abolition of the family” doctrine, designed to break down society.
As for “IQ”, that’s meaningless since it’s based on standardized tests devised by psychologists. (For the record, psychology was not regarded as a science until the 1870s, but as a branch of philosophy.)
Many men avoid marriage because society has caused it to be legally and financially unwise.
Most modern women aren’t worth the risk.
(For the record I am happily married for 35 years, but would caution most young men to be very wary.)

IQ tests are, as of yesterday at the close of the business day, the best predictor of ability to excel in a field of human endeavor.
Having seen male friend’s and colleagues raped by the family court system I dare say the assumption that men are tought to be lecherous is wrong. I am also assuming you have not dated many American women in the gen x and y age groups. Avoiding marriage is a good business decision in today’s society.
