He’s talking about Shinola watches. They aren’t “made” in Detroit they are assembled there from Swiss made parts. They cost from $500 to $1000 each so Willy spent between $7000 and $14,000 for watches. Not bad for someone who was “dead broke” at one time. It’s good to see someone go from a penniless ex-President to a wealthy entrepreneur passing out expensive watches at Christmastime. And nobody can say he doesn’t know $#!^ from Shinola.
