Maybe so, but the only thing that's worked for me, at least since I turned 40, is the low carb, high protein diet. Granted, I'm eating probably half the calories I was before going on the diet, because I'm eating a lot more veggies and no starches to speak of. Now that I'm within 10 pounds of my goal, I'm bringing some carbs back into my diet, and cutting out the eggs for my cholesterol level's sake, but low carb, high protein has gotten me here.
