Is there a sriracha shortage going on?
The company that makes it keeps having legal trouble. People who live near the factory file complaints about the smell, a judge orders production to stop, the factory establishes that the smell they're complaining about is someone else's factory, they get permission to start up again, then someone else files a complaint about the smell. Rinse, repeat.
I think the last I heard was that the factory owner was moving the whole shebang to Texas.

Thanks. I’ve reads of their troubles there, but I thought they had placed equipment to take care of the problem, and production was restored. I guess I will know tomorrow when I’m at the store.
My wife picked a few ripe cayenne peppers today for a pepper sauce I am going to make tomorrow.
