I read the article and the Robertsons didn't call Alan a bastard, Alan (tongue in cheek) called himself that. Beside that, it isn't a new revelation. I read about this a couple years ago.

Fair enough, I shouldn’t have been so harsh. But Alan’s not a bastard, and as his parents did the right thing and have raised a great family, neither are they.
